World Pickleball Championship Overview

The World Pickleball Championship (WPC) is the world's premier international pickleball tournament series, operating across more than 15 countries on four continents under the tagline 'Where Legends Rise.'

WPC was founded to bring competitive, professionally managed pickleball events to players of every skill level and age group. Unlike single-nation championships, WPC operates as a continuous global series with a unified ranking system, allowing a player who competes in WPC Asia to see their results reflected in the same GPR leaderboard as participants from Europe, Oceania, and the Americas.

The WPC Finals, held annually at Carmelina Beach Resort in Vietnam each January, serve as the culmination of the Race to Carmelina qualification pathway. The top 20 ranked players and teams in the 5.0 Open division earn automatic bids to the Finals, while wildcard spots are awarded to standout performers at individual Grand Slam events throughout the year.

What Sets WPC Apart

Dress code at WPC events requires appropriate athletic attire and non-marking court shoes. Players are responsible for their own health and fitness to compete, and by joining any WPC tournament participants accept the inherent risks of playing pickleball as outlined in each event's terms and conditions.
