WPC Player Rankings & DUPR System

WPC player rankings combine the Global Pickleball Rankings (GPR) point system with DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) match data to produce the most comprehensive competitive leaderboard in international pickleball.

Every match played at a sanctioned WPC event is uploaded to the DUPR system, which recalculates each participant's rating in real time. The DUPR rating is derived from win/loss outcomes weighted by the opponent's rating, meaning a narrow loss to a highly rated player can still improve your standing. This dynamic system is one of the reasons why WPC has attracted more than 60,000 registered players: every match counts.

GPR points are awarded separately from DUPR and follow a tiered structure based on the event level. Grand Slam events carry significantly more GPR points than local or regional stops, incentivising players to travel to flagship events such as the WPC Asia Grand Slam in Malaysia, WPC Championship Bali, and WPC England.
